Cooking For Life
New Skills – Caring Community – Creativity in the Kitchen
Cooking for Life is a unique program where people gather to cook nutritious meals. With a focus on health and community, participants are encouraged to use what is available in their pantry or from the local food bank. Each week consists of new tastes from a variety of recipes. Through improvising and adapting knowledge is gained to lower food waste and cost. This is a place where one can grow their cooking skills in a welcoming community. It is a time where we come together to learn, laugh and grow. Join in over Zoom or in-person classes (when COVID19 restrictions end).
The once a week cooking program is an awesome program. I look forward to the new cooking recipes all week. Thank you so very much for this program.
I used to cook and bake a lot and because of my condition, that all stopped until I became involved with the Cooking for Life program.
I love the course.
The program expanded my purchasing habits to include more good food.
I have learned how to prepare more meals with veggies and add veggies to a meal.
